Celebrity Bosworth is using her own image to launch a fashion app to use social media and integrate technology to sell contemporary clothing. With her husband they have decided to adapt the consumer’s needs to a social app focusing on lifestyle oriented images and photography – selling in a one step, on click through as you see the images.
Today I went to a talk at Parsons on Social Media use and I think this is very relevant to what is happening today where bigger brands are having trouble adapting to the new wave online and to reach consumers in a meaningful way. People can relate more to smaller brands and actual persons.
Do you think having an influencer as a global ambassador helps for the launch of the app? The concept is similar to something like Snapchat.
