Brief Summary:

What if you hear someone is whispering on the train and the voice is from your head?

Dubbed the “talking window,” a platform uses what the company calls “bone conduction” technology, which utilizes a small box affixed to the surface of a window that emits vibrations that the brain translates into sound.

The agency behind the platform hope the technology can be used not only for advertising, but also for music, entertainment, mass transport information, weather reports and so on. Some people worry they may no longer be able to rest their head against train windows. Image Passengers rest their heads on windows. My questions are:

What’s your comment on the ‘talking window’ technology?

What’s your suggestion for the social media platforms?

  1. I think its a great invention for brands. So may feel that this is goinfg to far, but we are already inundated with brand messaging in so many other ways, whats one more. I am excited to learn about the results of the talking window and see what the ROI is.
